Q. How many atoms are there in 1 gm of carbon?
A. Zero - There are no free atoms, there are only molecules.

Winner: Nobody.

  1. Who writes these answers? Are they nuts?? No. of atoms zero..biggest joke of the year.
Molecules are themselves made of atoms.
    12 gms of carbon makes 1 mole of carbon so 1 gm makes 1/12 moles. One mole has 6.022 x 10^23 atoms so 1 gm has (1/12) x 6.022 x 10^23 atoms.
